About the Sendmail SMTP Server Manager

Sendmail is an SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) mail server that sends SMTP email messages through the Internet to be stored on a mail server, such as POP3 or IMAP. SMTP is the most common email protocol on the Internet.

WEBppliance provides default configuration settings for the SMTP server. You can change these settings to suit the needs of outgoing and incoming mail on your domain. When you open the SMTP application, it opens the Sendmail SMTP Server Manager, which allows you to change the SMTP server configuration and manage your email features.
